We want everyone to be able to use this site and to eat with us. This page says what we have done, what we know is not right yet, and how to tell us when we get it wrong.
What we are aiming for
We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard most public bodies use, and it is a reasonable bar for a restaurant site.
What we have done
- The site works without a mouse. Every link, button and form field can be reached with a keyboard
- The mobile menu announces its state to screen readers, moves focus when it opens, and closes with the Escape key
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions
- The site works at any zoom level and does not scroll sideways on a phone
- Nothing flashes, autoplays with sound, or moves without you asking it to
- Content structure uses real headings, so a screen reader can skip through it
What we know is not right yet
Being honest is more useful than claiming full compliance:
- Our brand red does not meet the contrast requirement at small text sizes in every place it is used. We are working through this
- Some small labels are below the size we would like
- Press logos in the footer are low contrast by design and may be hard to read
In our restaurants
Both locations have step-free entry and accessible parking. If you need something specific to eat comfortably with us, call the location before you come and we will set it up. Detroit (313) 843-3215. Madison Heights (248) 653-5555.
Tell us when we get it wrong
If you hit something on this site you cannot use, we want to know, and we will fix it. You do not need to explain why you need it.
